Since it can be seen everywhere, almost everyone on the internet came across this famous Words With Friends logo so far. Words with Friends is a multi-player word game developed by Zynga With Friends (formerly Newtoy, Inc.). Released July 2009, Words with Friends is available for cross-platform play on devices running the operating systems Android and iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch). The game is also available on Facebook, Kindle Fire, and Nook Tablet.
Quite astonishing is the fact that the letter W in the Words With Friends logo indicates a value of five points. All original Words With Friends logos and icons in iOS App, Android App or Facebook game display the five-points-W. If you are a Words With Friends addict you will notice that there is something wrong. In a recent article on Words With Friends called How many letters in Words With Friends? we presented the letter and points distribution of this word game. Checking the W you will find out that the original value is four and not five. Is the incorrectly valued W(5) in the Words With Friends logo a mistake or something that was done deliberately? So far we couldn’t find out why there is this strange mistake in the logo.
